Bridge House, built amid nine acres of aspen groves, wild sage and meadow is tranquil and private. The home’s name was inspired by the design’s unique bridge element that contains the primary living and dining spaces. The bridge element creates a near-weightless transparency to that portion of the structure, blending it with the surrounding environment.
The bridge section of the home also features a wing-shaped roof, designed to respond to the path of the sun: allowing maximum light and warmth during the winter but shading the interior from direct sun during summer months.
As true proponents of clean quality living, the owners chose to create a sleek, contemporary structure that was true to their way of life. They opted for rich building materials such as bluestone, steel, cedar and walnut.
Our team enjoyed working in close collaboration with such visionary owners. We are honored to share this award with CCY Architects, and our clients, whose vision is reflected in every room of this beautiful home.
