The building process starts by understanding your vision and how you plan to use your home. By working closely with the design teams and clients throughout the design and construction phases of the project, the Preconstruction Department lays the foundation for success by establishing an accurate budget, developing a detailed schedule, as well as providing the team with recommendations necessary to make important decisions in a timely manner.

Construction Services

Our Construction Services Group gets involved early, adding their expertise and insights to the project cost models and building schedule before the first piece of dirt is turned. Each home has both a project manager and site superintendant who execute the design team’s vision, manage the day-to-day staging, schedule and trade team, and facilitate decisions about finishing details.

By appropriately valuing trade contractor services, Shaeffer Hyde Construction has forged strong relationships within the trade community; these relationships help us deliver premium homes in a timely fashion.

Our Construction Services Group provides the following services:

  • On-site supervision
  • Quality control
  • Safety management
  • Detail and material selection recommendations
  • Detailed meeting minutes
  • Submittal and RFI coordination
  • Weekly reports & photo updates e-mailed weekly

Custom homes are built on relationships. When we turn over the keys to your property, we remain committed to helping you keep it in pristine condition.

Our Property Care and Maintenance Team can survey your home’s performance each season, providing a wide range of services – everything from replacing a light bulb to scoping and building renovations and additions. In the event that one of our homes is sold, we will extend our services to the new homeowner, thus ensuring the home performs as designed well into the future.

The Property Care Department provides the following post-construction services:
