One of our new construction projects was hand-picked by houzz.com to be featured in an ideabook article.  The article, Design Workshop: How to make a Home Sit Lightly on the Land, explores architecture’s relationship to the natural environment.  The concept of a structure “sitting lightly” takes into consideration topographical conditions, aesthetics, and efficiency advantages.  The feature includes an image of one of our latest award winning projects.

What is houzz?

The houzz website is an increasingly popular tool used for design inspiration.  houzz was created in 2009 by a couple who grew tired of cutting ideas from magazines during their remodel.  They created an online community for architects, designers, and builders to share their work with those in the process of building, remodeling and refining.

Contributing writers for Houzz are design and construction experts who offer recommendations and solutions in an on-line interactive forum.  There are millions of searchable images on Houzz that can be saved to personal ideabooks.  Houzz is an innovative platform for professionals to share information, answer questions and connect with those considering a project.
